Grenada is one of the most exotic Caribbean islands.
In the southwestern part of the island of Grenada is the Grand Anse Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Many visitors spend time at Grand Anse Beach, one of the best beaches in the Caribbean, but Grenada offers more things to see and do than bask in the sun-kissed sand. The best way to travel to Grand Etang National Park is by renting a car or heading there on one of the many Grenada Island tours with local guides. On the eastern side of the island of Grenada, you can visit La Sages beach.
The turquoise waters surrounding Grenada offer great diving opportunities, from lazy drift diving to wall diving, and the largest shipwreck in the Caribbean, the White C. You can even explore the underwater sculpture park on the island. Most dive sites are 15 minutes from Grand Anse Beach in the southwest of the island. Visit historic Fort George and Fort Frederick, feel the past of Grenada, and enjoy panoramic views of the island’s capital, St. George.
Quiet Grenada is not as developed as many other Caribbean islands, with dense rainforests, waterfalls, historic cocoa and nutmeg plantations, and beautiful white sandy beaches. The archipelago’s underwater sculpture park is the first of its kind and aims to create artificial reefs as part of the restoration of Grenada’s coral reefs. Most of the attractions are located on the island of Grenada, but there are also some interesting places to explore on the islands of Carriacou and Little Martinique.
You can also visit the BBC Beach located in Morne Rouge Bay or Journal Beach to enjoy the beautiful natural landscape. The beach is surrounded by coconut and almond trees, and all visitors can enter the beach completely free of charge.
In Dayitang National Park, you can also see lizards, armadillos and mona monkeys. You can also visit the Belmont Estate Chocolate and Grenada Chocolate Company, where you can watch the cocoa plant and the process of making organic handmade chocolates. It is called the "Island of Spices", and its intoxicating aroma and flavours of nutmeg, cocoa, vanilla, and other spices are worthy of the name. At the southernmost point of the Caribbean, Grenada offers the intoxicating taste of ancient Caribbean islands.
