Description
A trip to the Tambopata should not be missed, even if you do not have a lot of time! Be able to observe many different species of plants and animals, as well as enjoy our exciting jungle excursions.
Pick up from accommodation in Puerto Maldonado, then take a motor boat along the Madre de Dios River to the lodge where a cool welcome drink awaits you.
Continue to take the boat to get to the control of Tambopata National Reserve Zone, after 1 and half hour walking through the rainforest approach to the famous Sandoval Lake.
Be surrounded by immense ancient trees and entangled vines; be able to see multihued flower and fauna including: Giant Otters, birds, colored butterflies, turtles, and variety of fish.
We will spend few hours canoeing on this most beautiful lake.
After a delicious lunch at Lake Sandoval, start our way back to the lodge and return to Puerto Maldonado by boat.
