Start your day with a hotel pickup in Punta Cana and make your way to Santo Domingo. First, visit the spectacular grotto of Los Tres Ojos to see the famous freshwater lakes and its spectacular cave. Then, walk around the Colón lighthouse, where it is said that the remains of the navigator are found.
The next stop will be outside the Presidential Palace. Observe the facade of this neoclassical architectural ensemble of great size and continue the visit touring the historic center of the city. Enter the temple of Santa María de La Encarnación, the Primate Cathedral of America and the oldest on the continent, to know the secrets it hides.
Travel to the past as you walk along Calle de las Damas, where you will see the first stone house that was built in the new world. Visit the National Pantheon inside where the remains of illustrious historical figures of the Dominican Republic rest.
