The jungle of Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley of the Incas and Cusco await you on this 4-day tour. You will get to know some of the most beautiful places in Peru.
Day 1: Cusco - Abra Málaga - Santa María
At the indicated time, we will pick you up in Cusco and head to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will first pass through the town of Chinchero, where we will enjoy stunning views of the Vilcabamba and Vilcanota mountain ranges.
We will then continue the route to the town of Ollantaytambo. From there we will continue to the Abra Málaga, where we will get on a bicycle to reach the town of Santa María. On the way we will see the Inca site of Huamanmarca, where we will have lunch.
The route will end at a centrally located two-star lodge in Santa María. From there, in the afternoon, we will go rafting on the Blanco River. After this exciting experience, we will return to the Santa María lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Santa Maria - Quellomayo - Santa Teresa
After breakfast at the Santa Maria lodge, we will hike along the original Inca trail that linked Machu Picchu to Vilcabamba, considered the last Inca capital. During the approximately 3-hour hike, we will see numerous banana, coca, yuca, coffee plantations... and more!
We will stop in the town of Quellomayo for lunch. Then we will continue with a 3.5-hour hike along the Vilcanota River until we reach a centrally located hotel in Santa Teresa, where we will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 3: Santa Teresa - Hidroeléctrica - Aguas Calientes
After breakfast at the hotel, we will leave Santa Teresa and head to a 4-zipline circuit. Then, we will drive to Hidroeléctrica for lunch. After lunch, we will walk for 3 hours to a hotel in Aguas Calientes, where we will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 4: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco
On our last day, we will wake up very early and, from Aguas Calientes, we will embark on a trekking route through the jungle to Machu Picchu. After a short breakfast on the way, we will take a guided tour of the archaeological site of Machu Picchu, the legendary city of the Incas!
After the visit to Machu Picchu, we will begin a 3-hour trekking route to Hidroeléctrica. From there, you will return by road to Cusco, where your arrival is expected at 8 pm.
