4-Day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru Safari Big 5 Safari

This package takes you to both the land and water life. You will be able to understand the big 5 as well as the marine life. The different hippos available and the various birds on the lake.
Day 1
Pickup from Your Hotel Then Proceed to Masai Mara National Reserve
Your safari starts with pick up at 7:30 AM from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and drive to Maasai Mara.

A Masai Mara safari is an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya. There are breathtaking panoramas in every direction, a vast range of wildlife including the Big Five and a rich cultural heritage to explore. Kenya’s Masai Mara is without doubt one of the greatest safari destinations in Africa.

Between July and October, things get busy in the Great Rift Valley. Millions of zebras and wildebeests make the perilous crossing across the Mara River in search of new grazing territory. And in their wake comes a veritable horde of predators including lion and leopard.

You'll arrive in time for lunch and then have time to relax from the drive.

At 4:00 pm, you'll depart on an afternoon game drive. You'll return to the lodge/camp for dinner and your overnight stay at 6:30 pm.

Day 2
Full Game Drives
Today's itinerary is flexible and you can discuss with your guide and plan for the day’s schedule.

You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full-day game drives at around 7:30 am with a picnic lunch. This will give you a chance to visit the Mara River where the migration happens during its time. Also, you'll have better chances to view wildlife all day and return to the lodge/camp late in the afternoon.

At 6:00 am, have an early morning game drive. Later return to your accommodation for breakfast and relax from morning until midafternoon.

At 4:00 pm, you'll depart on an afternoon game drive. You'll return to the lodge/camp for dinner and your overnight stay at 6:30 pm.

Day 3
Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park
You'll have some breakfast and then drive to Nakuru.

You will arrive in time for lunch and then relax.

At 4:00 pm, start the evening game drive.

The highlights here are that this is home to hundreds of rhinos, both black and white, other wildlife and lots of birdlife.

After the game drive, we will head back to the lodge/camp to freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner.

Day 4
Drive Back to Nairobi
Depending on your flight details, you will organize with your guide your departure from Lake Nakuru.
You will be transferred to your Nairobi location or to the airport for your homebound flight.
