Travelling by Jeep allows us to go off-road and escape the crowds of tuktuks and tour buses. Explore some of the most spectacular temples in Cambodia; Angkor Wat, Bayon Temple, Ta Prohm, and more.
Today, we’ll start our adventure with our Jeep tours, This journey takes you through Cambodia’s ancient temples to world heritage areas on the roads less travelled. Travelling among the jungle passing local village and local shop. It’s a very special and acting day as you will explore some of Angkor’s most beautiful temples. You will visit the West Gate of Angkor Thom – undiscovered by mass tourist.
We then move on to Angkor Thom visiting Bayon, with its 54 towers decorated with more than 200 enigmatic smiling faces, Phimeanakas, Baphoun, Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch at Ancient Khmer House Restaurant near Sras Srang, the Royal Pool of Ablutions, originally reserved for the King and his consorts. Enjoy a spread of great local food followed by a nap lazing in a hammock, or explore to see the traditional way of life and say hello to the Cambodians near here.
After lunch we continue our day tour by visiting the beautiful Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider) temple which was made famous by Angelina Jolie. Feel like one of the early explorers as you visit this temple which has been left to be reclaimed by the jungle.
In the Afternoon, you are going to see magnificent temple of Angkor Wat, Angkor Wat was built by King Suryavarman II (1113 - 1150) to dedicate to God 'Vishnu'. Then back to the city end your tour.
