Enjoy exploring Stockholm city via kayak on your very own self-guided tour. Take in some of Stockholm's highlights from a new perspective on this unique trip.
The kayak dock is located right in the heart of the city, just 400 m from the Adventure Café, so you will start your self-guided tour in a prime location. Enjoy a leisurely sightseeing paddle that allows you a fabulous vantage point as you look in on the city from your kayak.
Stockholm is lovingly known as “The Venice of the North” as it is situated over 14 islands and linked by 57 bridges, so exploring by kayak is a great way to see the city. Even better, paddle at your own pace on a self-guided tour. You'll be provided a brief introduction on kayaking and all the equipment needed for your adventure, then you can set sail on your adventure.

• This activity takes place in all weathers unless the guide/instructor deems it unsafe
• The maximum weight is 130 kilograms per person
• There are no toilets at the kayak dock, the meeting point for your activity, but you are welcome to come to the main location (Kungsbro Strand 21) during the office hours to use the toilet
Our dock is on Klara sjö just before Barnhusbron (the closest street address is Pipersgatan 45, from that address you should walk down to the water and to your left).
Our Adventure Cafe is located 500m from the Bus/Train Station (Central Station/CityTerminalen) and the Metro Station (T-Centralen). Our Kayak Dock is located 400m from our Adventure Cafe. All Metro, Overland Trains and Airport Shuttles stop at Central Station. If you’re coming from the station:
- Follow signs for/take the exit to ‘Stockholm C/CityTerminalen’.
- Walk over the bridge on Klarabergsviaduken, keeping to the right side of the road.
- Go down the stairs on your right.
- Continue along the canal, past our Adventure Cafe and our Dock is just before the bridge, Barnhusbron.
- THE CLOSEST STREET ADDRESS IS PIPERSGATAN 45, 112 28.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
