Start your day early in Manchester for a journey worth taking. First stop: the charming village of Pooley Bridge in the Lake District, where stunning landscapes await. Stroll by Ullswater Lake, coffee in hand, and soak in the inspiration that once fueled William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter.
Next, we cross into Scotland, heading straight to Glasgow for a couple of hours to explore this vibrant city, known for its music scene and historic shipyards.
In the afternoon, we visit the picturesque village of Luss sitting snugly on the west bank of Loch Lomond, with breathtaking views of Ben Lomond. The rest of the day will be a flexible exploration of Scotland’s scenic gems, tailored by your guide.
Finally, we end the day in Oban, the Seafood Capital of Scotland, perfect for an overnight stay and a taste of the local fare.
Day 2
Today, explore the Scottish Highlands, a region beloved by poet Robert Burns. We start in Fort Augustus on the banks of Loch Ness, where you can grab a bite and maybe spot Nessie on a cruise.
Next, visit the Glenfinnan Viaduct, the iconic 'Harry Potter bridge,' offering stunning views and a chance to capture the perfect photo.
Then, journey to Glen Coe, where the breathtaking mountain scenery, especially at the Three Sisters Viewpoint, will leave you in awe.
Finally, return to Oban for the evening.
Day 3
We start the day at Kilchurn Castle, overlooking the mystical Loch Awe, one of Scotland's most photographed castles.
Next, we visit the village of Killin for a quick explore and bite to eat.
In the afternoon, we head to Stirling Castle, a 12th-century masterpiece known as the "Key to Scotland." Explore the Great Hall, take in the views, or wander the town of Stirling. We'll spend the night nearby, under the castle's shadow.
Day 4
Today, we bid farewell to Scotland with a visit to its enchanting capital, Edinburgh. Whether it's the cobblestone streets, the majestic Edinburgh Castle, the charm of Dean Village, or the historic Old Town, there’s something here for everyone.
