From Cardiff: Welsh Valleys Tour

Travel through the beautiful Wye Valley stopping off at some of Wales's most iconic landmarks.
There’s no better way to explore South Wales than in the company of a historian, and native Welsh speaker, who is passionate about the country. This tour, which provides a deeper insight into Welsh culture than any other. You will be picked up by your guide from Cardiff at 0800 and whisked around south Wales. It's a chance for you to relax, unwind, and take in the beautiful vistas while at the same time receiving a history lesson and a breakdown of the Welsh language. During this tour you will visit some of Wales's most iconic landmarks which you will be free to explore at your own leisure.

The typical day

Tintern Abbey
Stop: 60 minutes – Admission excluded

Enjoy the abbey and the scenic views of the River Wye.

Chepstow Castle
Stop: 2 hours – Admission excluded

Enjoy a walk around the market town and visit Wales’s first Norman Castle in a stunning setting over looking the River Wye.

Caerphilly Castle
Stop: 60 minutes – Admission excluded

Marvel at the size and location of the UK’s second biggest castle.

Admission is not included but you can buy a pass that will save you quite a bit. Just ask Gareth. Lunch is also not included but Gareth can suggest the best places to go for food.

Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
