Catania city: volcanic wines or sparkling Italian wines

In Piazza Scammacca, the first metropolitan market of Catania, you will experience a unique thematic tasting tour.
You can choose between 2 themes: Sicilian volcanic wines or Italian sparkling wines, available on different weekdays, choose the option you prefer!

Option 1 - Sicilian volcanic wines on *Wednesday* and *Friday*
The eruptions of the volcanoes have given rise to soils with completely original and peculiar characteristics. In fact, volcanic rocks have different origins and compositions, leading to the production of amazing wines, each with a different story to tell.

Option 2 - Italian sparkling wines on *Sunday*
All the ancient Italian grape varieties, both white and red, are rich in acidity and this allows them to obtain extraordinary bubbles from their wines, even in warm and not particularly high-altitude areas. The use of these varieties allows us to embark on an experiment with pride an all-Italian road for sparkling winemaking.

Following the theme you'll sample 4 different glasses of wine. Each glass will be accompanied by matching specially designed foods, created in synergy by our sommelier and our chefs, each combo brings the style of single-issue formats of Piazza Scammacca.

Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
