Board the dragon boat after a pickup from your hotel in Hue. Take a 30-minute boat cruise on the Perfume River to visit the oldest pagoda in Hue: the Thien Mu Pagoda. It is the oldest religious structure in Hue and is also one of the most impressive. It was constructed during the 17th century to worship the legend of a local woman with spiritual connections.
Next you will enter the Imperial Citadel – The home of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty – the Nguyen Dynasty, and part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A complex of around 100 monuments in 520 hectares of the Nguyen Dynasty. It was the former working and private residence of 13 Emperors, concubines, and eunuchs.
Continue to visit Dong Ba Market, where you can watch locals buying and selling goods. Get dropped off back at your hotel in Hue at the end of the tour.
