NIGHT 1: HA LONG TO HA GIANG
• 6PM: Get picked up at Wuling Quang Ninh in Ha Long city and board a sleeper bus, then you'll sleep while being transported to Ha Giang.
• Arrive at the hostel in Ha Giang at 4AM, you'll get a comfortable dorm bed & sleep for a few hours more.
DAY 1: HA GIANG city – DONG VAN ancient town
- 8AM: Enjoy your breakfast, meet your guide & fellow travelers, and be briefed on the Loop's thrilling route
- 9:00AM: Start the Loop ride
- Conquer the majestic Bac Sum Pass and Quan Ba Heaven Gate
- Immerse yourself in Hmong King's Palace, a whisper of forgotten history
- Arrive in Dong Van, an ancient town nestled amidst karst giants; check in your cozy hotel for 2nd night
- Indulge in a delicious dinner then immerse yourself in the ancient town's lively atmosphere. Freely explore the night at the town center or loose yourself in the melodies of live music
DAY 2: DONG VAN town to DU GIA village
- If it’s Sunday, you can freely visit the bustling Dong Van market, witness a vibrant tapestry of local life before having breakfast at 8AM
- Tackle the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass and witness breathtaking panoramas.
- Descend into Nho Que River for a refreshing boat trip through Tu San Canyon, Southeast Asia's deepest gorge.
- Enjoy your lunch in Meo Vac and wind your way through Sa Li Pass to Lung Ho viewpoint.
- Find your haven in Du Gia village, enjoy your dinner, then freely gather with your fellow travelers, engaging in stories & laughter or immerse yourself in the tranquility of the evening
DAY 3: DU GIA to HA GIANG city
- You can freely visit the lively weekly Du Gia market (Saturday only) before breakfast at 8AM
- Start your day by taking a refreshing dip in Du Gia Waterfall or sip a cup of coffee in the sound of water flow
- Ascend to Duong Thuong viewpoint, take a moment to reflect on the winding path you have traveled.
- Enjoy lunch in Tam Son town
- Continue your journey, marveling at Lung Tam valley viewpoint and the dramatic Little Ma Pi Leng Canyon
• 3:30PM-4PM: Freshen up with a free shower & towel when you arrive at the starting point in Ha Giang city. The tour ends here.
NIGHT 4: HA GIANG to HANOI/SAPA/NINH BINH
In case you choose the option including the drop-off in Hanoi/Sapa/Ninh Binh, your sleeper bus will pick you up from here between 7-8.30pm. You'll sleep while being transported to one of these cities. The bus arrives in early morning.

• Accommodation on Ha Giang Loop tours is typically homestays/ basic guesthouses; meals are simple local cuisine (menu may be repeated as it’s a multiday tour).
• This is a guided group tour covering the classic route of Ha Giang Loop. While the number of travelers per one riding group/one guide is usually limited to 11 only to ensure safety and personal experience; you may meet other riding groups of the same/different tour operators at stops or restaurants.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
