Hue Countryside Bike Tour & Cooking Class

At 8:00 a.m, the tour guide will pick you up at the hotel by private car and depart for La Chu Village, about 8 km from Hue city center.

From the village gate, start your journey to explore Hue countryside by bicycle and participate in a cooking class to make Banh Loc.

Journey through the roads between fields in La Chu Village, a place famous for growing herbs, onions, cilantro, basil... Not only that, February to July is the ideal time to see lotus ponds and water lily. During that time, you can also see local farmers' rice-growing activities. Continue your journey to stops inside La Chu Village.

Your first stop is a house with a tradition of making votive offerings, this is a very popular and strong belief among Vietnamese people. And visit a temple in the area to learn about the architecture and worship culture of Vietnamese people.

The next stop is a house with a tradition of making Banh Loc, also known as Rice dumpling cake, a typical Hue cake made from rice flour and filled with shrimp and meat inside. Here, you will learn how to make Banh Loc and make this dish yourself with the locals and your Tour Guide.

While waiting for the lunch dishes to be completed, you will have time to relax your feet with local herbal water, admire the view of the fields, and feel the peace of the Hue countryside.

Take time to rest and chat with the people there before returning to your hotel.

14h00: After some rest, cycle back to your hotel and finish your tour of Hue countryside and Banh Loc.
