Description

Hue was the capital city of Vietnam when the Nguyen dynasty ruled here, from 1802-1945. This private shore excursion allows you to explore Hue's imperial citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda.
After pickup at Chan May port, drive straight to Hue city and then to the other side of the Perfume River. There, admire the magnificent Noon Gate of the Royal Citadel, where Nguyen kings used to announce the results of national exams and the new year calendar. Enter the Imperial Citadel and the newly restored Palace of Supreme Harmony.
Next, visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest Buddhist pagodas in the area. Here, learn more about Buddhism in Vietnam and discover the spiritual life. Continue your tour with a dragon boat cruise on the Perfume River, picturesque on a clear day, atmospheric even in less than flattering weather. After a boat ride, enjoy lunch at an ancient restaurant.
