After being picked up at your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter, drive with your guide to Hai Phong city. From there, board a speedboat and arrive at the scenic Cat Ba Island. The largest of the 367 islands that make up the Cat Ba Archipelago, Cat Ba Island is covered in lush forests, gorgeous lagoons, and dramatic limestone hills. As you drive down the Cat Ba national road to Cat Ba Town, admire these emerald views. 

After your journey, relax over a restaurant lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a nature tour with your guide. Enter the Hospital Cave, an enormous cave that once housed a secret hospital. Trek through the thick foliage of Cat Ba National Park. This park, which covers most of the island, boasts a unique terrestrial and aquatic ecosystem that was declared a UNESCO's Man and Biosphere Reserve Area. Explore Kim Giao Forest and climb Ngu Lam Peak, the island’s highest limestone mountain. After a full afternoon of exploring, relax in your Monkey Island bungalow.

Begin the second day of your tour with a delicious breakfast at your resort. Meet your tour guide and travel by boat to Lan Ha Bay. Along the way, visit a floating fishing village where you can see local fishermen hard at work all year round. As you cruise around the archipelago admire the many natural limestone formations. Pause at Cam lagoon and go for a swim. After an onboard lunch, cruise to Lan Ha Bay and kayak through the Dark Cave, the Bat Cave, and the Bright Cave. Then relax at Three Peaches Beach (Ba Troi Da), an ideal locale for swimming and sunbathing. Finally, your tour guide will drive you back to your hotel in the Old Hanoi Quarter.
