Discover Dead Horse Point, one of Utah’s most spectacular state parks, on a guided mountain biking activity. Ride along a rugged trail 2,000 feet above the Colorado River and see fantastic panoramic views of the Canyonlands area with its sculpted pinnacles and buttes.
Meet in the morning and set off on the Intrepid Trail of Dead Horse Point State Park. With the half-day option, enjoy an introduction to singletrack riding along scenic rolling terrain, mixed with some short climbs and lots of fun sections to explore.
If you choose the full-day option, enjoy a scenic lunch at the park’s main viewpoint. Additionally, you will finish the day on the more challenging Twisted Tree and Prickly Pear Trail segments on the western edge of the park.

A $50 deposit is required per day tour reservation
This is a moderate/intermediate mountain biking activity and basic cycling skills are required, plus a moderate level of prior off-road full suspension mountain biking experience
You should have a high level of physical fitness for this tour
• We meet at the Chile Pepper Bike Shop in the parking lot
• There is no need to check-in at the bike shop: the guides will arrive with a van and your bikes and transport you to the trailhead
• Meeting times vary by the month but are all between 7:10 AM and 10:10 AM.
• Guests also have the option to drive themselves to the trailhead and can follow the van from the meeting spot to the trails.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
