Description

Running routes through local neighborhoods, beautiful bridges, riverfronts, and beach boardwalks that close with a delicious local treat!
This activity is a (not exactly) a running tour. Rather, it's a chance for runners to experience new, fun, beautiful, and different parts of the city through running. Each and every run ends with a special New York treat (pastry, coffee, cocktail, etc.). Routes and distances can be catered to your interests.

-

All of the photos on this page were taken on my own solo runs through New York City. It's something I want to share with others. We truly have it all here and your running workout is a great way to experience it!

-

Participants will get the chance to choose from three different route options (distances adjustable) throughout the city:

-

1. Two boroughs and a bridge - We will cross from one borough to another on a scenic bridge, the post run treat will depend on the neighborhood and borough we land in!
-

2. "Let's go to the beach" - We'll run to the beach (Coney Island/Brighton Beach/Rockaway). Post run treats here could be a Coney Island hotdog, a pierogi at Brighton Beach, or a Piña Colada at Rockaway)
-

3. The neighborhood track/park - We'll pick a park you've never been to or a track in a new neighborhood followed by a post run treat at a neighborhood staple

-

Price includes the post-run treat, which is a surprise based on where we go. It will be 1 unit of something like a specialty coffee, pastry, cheap local eats, or a beer/wine/cocktail.

Highlights

  • A running workout (not quite a tour) for people who want to experience New York
  • No long stops for photos but you'll break a sweat & feel like youre in a movie!
  • A better workout than a "running tour" & more exhilarating than any tour
