During this walk, your guide will take you to the most haunted places and tell you the story of the ghosts and vampires and the voodoo rituals that have marked the history of this neighborhood, which has also been the setting for movies and television shows devoted to the occult, from the series True Blood to the movie Interview with the Vampire, to season 3 of American Horror Story.
You'll also hear the story of Marie Laveau, who became involved in divination, the occult and magic, and had a snake she named Zombi after an African deity.
This tour will take you to the famous Congo Square, a place of slave rituals and dances located in Louis Armstrong Park.
The tour will end at St. Louis Cemetery, the oldest cemetery in the city, where you will learn why the dead are buried above ground and how the vaults are built.
