Enjoy a guided forest walk as you track chimpanzees in Kibale forest, discover the crater lakes with stunning views at the ‘Top of the World’ while learning about monkeys, birds found in our Nature!
This is the best highlight to track chimpanzees and is one of the most beautiful distinct tropical rainforests, Kibale harbors 70 mammal species, around 375 bird species, 250 butterfly species and is famous for 13 primate species including the chimpanzee. The park has the highest concentration of primates in Africa with biggest population of chimpanzees in Uganda.

Day 1
Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel, or agreed meeting point. get briefed about your safari and then start on your journey to kibale forest. on the way you will take a short stop over the tea plantations and learn how tea is cultivated and processed. you will then continue arriving to your lodge for a night stay in the evening.

Day 2
The most favorite of Kibale’s walks embarks on from the Kanyanchu Visitor center at 08.00 and lasts 2 to 4 hours. Chimpanzee are the most sought after primate by visitors, but you should look out for the black & white colobus, red tailed monkey or the grey cheeked mangabey. Your guides will be able to show you pittas & different bird species and will give details of the plant species within the forest. Whilst trekking in the Depths of the green forests, you will be surrounded by bird songs. The walking is fairly easy due to the well-maintained trails and flat terrains taken in search of one of the most popular primate species in the world. the chimpanzee. A wonderful jungle trip is the result, finishing in an hour of eye to eye contact with the chimps. We can however never guarantee you to see them

later in the afternoon, after lunch you will explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary which is a fascinating area with an extensive array of biodiversity among which are several primates species like the red colobus monkey, baboon, black & white colobus monkey, blue monkey grey cheeked, mangabey, vervet monkey, red tailed monkey and the L’Hoest monkey. The Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary is a great example of a community-based approach to the natural resources management which can be of good economic benefit to the different local residents living within this area plus the tourism industry as well.

Day 3
After your early morning breakfast, you will experience a glorious trek through beautiful countryside, past three volcanic crater lakes and on to the stunning top of the world with spectacular views. later you will continue with your journey driving back to Kampala or Entebbe.
