Zabriskie Point is a part of the Amargosa Range located east of Death Valley in Death Valley National Park in California, United States, noted for its erosional landscape. It is composed of sediments from Furnace Creek Lake, which dried up 5 million years ago—long before Death Valley came into existence.

Badwater Basin is an endorheic basin in Death Valley National Park, Death Valley, Inyo County, California, noted as the lowest point in North America and the United States, with a depth of 282 ft (86 m) below sea level. Mount Whitney, the highest point in the contiguous United States, is only 84.6 miles (136 km) to the northwest.

The Artist’s Drive in Death Valley National Park is one of the more unique things you can do in the park. The drive takes you through canyons and past mountains, many of which are covered in fantastic colors.

Mesquite Flat Dunes is the most popular of the six dune fields located in Death Valley National Park. Seemingly endless golden dunes roll off toward the horizon with a backdrop of purple mountain majesty.

Across the valley rises Telescope Peak, the highest in the park. Under the morning light, the views are breathtaking in every direction.
