Back in the days of the yore, pirate ships from afar often ran aground on Sand Key Reef, nine miles off of the southern coast of Key West. When all the scallywags in Key West heard there was booty to be had, they'd get in their boats and race each other out to the reef. The first one there could claim the ship's cargo.
Today, we celebrate it with the firing of the canon to start the race, and all of the schooners of Key West are on their way in a one-way race to Sand Key Lighthouse. The boat that gets there first, "wins." Enjoy the excitement aboard Schooner America 2.0 as we race for victory!

Seating may be assigned.
Check in is located dockside in front of the Schooner Wharf Bar at 202 William Street in Key West, 33040. Our ticket booth is located at the end of William Street near the corner of William St and Greene St. Parking can be found in the municipal lot on Caroline St.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
