Our intermediate rafting trip is ideal for those looking to step up from beginner rafting. It's a great option for experienced paddlers or adventurous first-timers seeking a thrill. This trip demands active participation and paddling as you navigate through over a dozen rapids on a stretch where the river drops about 75 feet per mile. You’ll encounter thrilling rapids such as Nomad, Fall River, Phoenix, Deliverance, and the climax, Outer Limits Rapid, with continuous Class III-IV whitewater action.

The adventure starts at the Colorado Rafting Company Boathouse in Dumont, CO. After gearing up and meeting your guides, you'll take a shuttle to the put-in point. The trip includes approximately 3 hours of total adventure time, with the rafting portion offering an exhilarating mix of rapids and teamwork.

Our package includes professional guides, all necessary safety and rafting equipment, and wetsuits if needed. Transportation from the meeting place to the river and back is also provided. The trip operates from May to August, depending on water levels, with multiple daily departure times at 8:30am, 12:30pm, and 4:00pm.

Participants must be at least 12 years old, with the ability to swim and be in good physical condition recommended. The minimum age may vary with water flow conditions. Note that lodging, personal clothing, splash jackets, booties, insurance, and gratuity are not included in the trip package.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
