Grab a pint of liquid courage and explore downtown Charleston’s most bone-chilling pubs and historic sites on a pub crawl. Visit haunted locations and local pubs on a spooky walking tour.
Charleston's 400-year history is filled with war, death, curses, and cryptids. Pull up a bar stool and listen to the spookiest campfire tales the Holy City has to offer.
You'll meet your seasoned local guide at the Blind Tiger Pub, where you’ll sip a prohibition-era cocktail and dive into the tale of Benjamin “Pitchfork” Tillman. From there, you’ll wind through seven other historic, haunted locations, including three additional bars.
Visit a 17th century dungeon that’s haunted the same man every night for the last twenty years. Scan the Powder Magazine for the bloodied ghosts of teenaged soldiers. Hear the tale of the Angel Oak, and uncover the reason why Charleston residents keep a broomstick by their bedside (hint: It’s terrifying).
Along the way, you’ll visit beloved local bars like The Griffon and Tommy Condons, which offer a wide assortment of beers, wines, and speciality cocktails you’ll only find in Charleston.
