Description
Take a 2-hour walking tour of film locations in historic Greenwich and visit sites from more than 40 screen productions across historic sites, such as the Old Royal Naval College, Royal Observatory and Queen's House.
On this fully-guided walking tour of Greenwich, you will be shown more than 40 iconic scenes from dozens of screen productions from the past 35 years. With the aid of still images and insight, your experienced guide will lead you around the historic and iconic areas of Greenwich such as the Old Royal Naval College, Queen's House, the foot tunnel and Royal Observatory.
Starting from the DLR rail station you will set off to see where the escape took place from the infested area in 28 Weeks Later before heading to one of the many scenes from Now You See Me 2. The most popular and recognisable film location in London is the Old Royal Naval College - which dates back to the 17th-century. It is here that dozens of the most recent iconic films have been made. Here you will see where the dramatic ending of Thor 2 takes place, where 'old' London is based in films such as Sherlock Holmes and Pirates of the Caribbean 4. Other films include Muppets Most Wanted, Gulliver's Travels, Skyfall, The Dark Knight and Four Weddings and a Funeral.
The tour will move onto the Queen's House and Royal Observatory where you will be able to enjoy fine views over Greenwich, discover even more film locations and learn about their history. The tour will conclude by the Royal Observatory where you can independently explore the historic attraction and see the meridien line.
