Embark on an 9-day safari adventure in Uganda.
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
You will be picked up by your driver guide from your hotel or the airport. Head to western Uganda and stop at the equator in Kayabwe for a photo opportunity. Enjoy refreshments and continue to the park. Have lunch in Mbarara and check in at Mburo Safari Lodge. Relax for the evening and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
After breakfast, embark on a game drive to see animals like antelopes, buffaloes, leopards, and warthogs. Return to the hotel for lunch and then take an afternoon boat cruise along Lake Mburo. Spot water species such as hippos and crocodiles. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Mburo Safari Lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a stop for lunch en-route. Drive through the snake roads of the Kigezi region and enjoy the great view of the African hills and green banana plantations. Check in at Bahoma Community Haven Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Ultimate Gorilla Tracking Experience
After breakfast, drive to the gorilla tracking briefing point with your packed lunch. Set off to meet the mountain gorillas. Return to the lodge and, if time is available, take a walk in the Batwa community. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Bahoma Community Haven Lodge.
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector with en-route lunch. Spot lions hanging on the trees and other animals like elephants and giraffes. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Baboon Safari Resort.
Day 6: Morning Game Drive, Afternoon Boat Cruise & Transfer to Kibale NP
After breakfast, embark on a game drive through the Kasenyi plains trail. After lunch, take an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Spot elephants coming down to the banks to drink and swim, several schools of hippos, crocodiles basking at the banks, and other animals like buffaloes and waterbucks. Drive to Kibale National Park in the evening and check in at Kibale Forest Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Ultimate Chimpanzee Tracking
After breakfast, be briefed and start on chimpanzee tracking as well as bird watching. Walk through the most beautiful and tropical forests and encounter and see a number of birds like the tinker bird and the great blue turaco. Spot other primates like the black and white colobus monkey and the vervet monkey. Have lunch at any restaurant in the park and return to Kibale Forest Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: Drive Back to Kampala
Wake up early and have breakfast before driving back to Kampala. Stop for lunch en-route and take the last pictures of the beautiful landscapes. Reach Kampala in the afternoon and be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home.
