Embark on a 7-day safari in Uganda and discover the country's diverse wildlife. Go on game drives in Murchison Falls Park, track chimpanzees in Kibale Forest, and see gorillas in Bwindi Forest.
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls Park en route to Rhino Sanctuary
Begin your safari in Uganda by driving northwards to Murchison Falls National Park. Enjoy a hot lunch en route and prepare for the breathtaking scenery. Take a short nature walk to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Masindi. In the evening, arrive at the national park and transfer directly to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Activities in Murchison Falls Park
After an early morning breakfast, enjoy an early game drive and see giraffes, elephants, and buffalo that roam the park. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat launch upstream to the foot of the thundering Murchison Falls. Also, see animals like hippos, crocodiles, and unique bird species.
Day 3: Transfer from Murchison Falls to Kibale Forests
After an early breakfast, leave the national park and proceed in the direction of Fort Portal. Have lunch en–route. In the evening, go on a Bigodi Nature walk then later check-in for overnight and dinner at your accommodation preference.
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park
After an early breakfast, continue to the Chimpanzee Tracking Headquarters for a briefing. After your back, have lunch and continue further down following the mystical mountain ranges to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon safari by boat on the Kazinga channel. Spend the evening at leisure and later prepare for dinner and overnight at an accommodation of your choice.
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth Safari activities and transfer to Bwindi via the Ishasha Sector
This morning after your early breakfast, have another game drive in the North of the park and have a chance to spot the Uganda Kobs, elephants, and lions. After lunch, depart the northern side of the park and drive southwards to the Ishasha sector, the area famed for the tree-climbing lions. Spend the rest of the evening with another game drive and try out your luck. Then drive to Bwindi Forests to your lodge at leisure for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Gorilla Tracking Day
After your breakfast, head to the Uwa headquarters for the gorilla tracking briefing. The Mountains gorillas and the tracking will take about 6-7 hours long from the start times. Return to your lodging for an overnight.
Day 7: Transfer back to Entebbe
This morning, have breakfast at leisure and later, transfer back to Kampala with lunch en-route and wonderful photography at the equator. This day is reserved for evening flights through Entebbe International airport.
