From Entebbe: 3-Day Gorilla Trekking Safari with Transfers

Embark on a 3-day gorilla trekking safari from Kampala or Entebbe. Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you can see the gorillas in their natural habitat.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi
Be picked up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala and transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a stopover at the Equator for photos and lunch en-route in Mbarara City. Proceed to Bwindi and arrive in the evening.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Bwindi
After an early breakfast, have lunch packed and attend a briefing at 7:00 AM. Your guide will give you highlights of specific details about the way of life of the gorillas you will be tracking. The hike can take anything from one to seven hours.

Trek through the thickly forested hills of Bwindi and then finally come across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation. Once you reach the gorillas, spend one hour with them as you stand 6 meters away.
Upon completion of this magical encounter, drive back to the lodge where you can relax in the afternoon or go for another walk to visit one of the communities around.

Day 3: Transfer Back to Entebbe / Kampala
Have breakfast and embark on the drive back to Entebbe or Kampala with lunch en-route, arriving late afternoon and dropping off at your hotel or the airport for your onward flight.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
