Embark on a 3-day safari trip to Uganda and get face to face with the mountain gorillas on your tracking trip. Visit the deepest lake in Uganda, Lake Bunyonyi, and learn about the Batwa pygmies of the impenetrable forest.
Day 1: Pickup and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, be picked up from your hotel by a professional driver guide who will brief you about the journey. Proceed for an 8 to 10-hour drive with en-route lunch and a stopover at the Equator line at Kayabwe for the water experience. Take some memorable pictures to spice up the journey. Proceed to the park for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi - Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Have an early breakfast and embark on the transfer to the park offices with your packed lunch. Be briefed about the do’s and the don'ts of the park when you are with the mountain gorillas. After the briefing, be assigned a park ranger and one gorilla family to trek. Embark on your search for the mountain gorillas, during your trek through the impenetrable forest.
Later in the evening, prepare for a visit to the Batwa pygmies of the impenetrable forest who were the original inhabitants of Bwindi's impenetrable forest. Have dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer back to Entebbe
After a relaxed breakfast at your lodge, check-out and embark on your transfer back to Entebbe with lunch en-route and another stopover at the equator. Proceed arriving late evening at Entebbe where you will be dropped off marking the end of your trip.

Wear long-sleeved shirts and pants to protect against nettles
Gorilla tracking can take from 30 minutes to 8 hours depending on the gorilla movements
A reasonable degree of fitness is required
Tracking starts early in the morning and can extend into the afternoon
Participants must be over 15 years of age
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
