Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe to Bwindi NP
After being picked up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, make your way to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Stop at the equator for a photo opportunity before arriving at the park. Check in to your lodge and enjoy dinner before your gorilla trekking adventure the next day.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Optional Activity
Wake up excited to meet the highlight of this tour, the mountain gorillas. After breakfast, head to the briefing point where you will meet your fellow trekkers and be assigned a park ranger. Begin your search with the help of your guide and meet creatures like varvetonkeys, olive baboons, duikers, colobus monkeys, Handsome Francolin, and White starred Robin.
On meeting a family of gorillas, have a chance to spend an hour in their presence recording memories through capturing photos. After the overall experience, head back to the lodge for lunch followed by an optional activity of either visiting the Batwa community or visiting Lake Mutanda.
