DAY 1 | ISTANBUL
Arrival at Istanbul airport. Assistance and transfer to hotel. Dinner on your own. Night at hotel.
DAY 2 | ISTANBUL (PD)
Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure. Dinner and overnight accommodation.
3RD DAY | ISTANBUL | ANKARA (PD,D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning. 1:00 pm departure for Ankara, via the İntercontinental Bosphorus Bridge. Arrival in Ankara, Turkey's capital since 1923. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 4 | ANKARA | CAPPADOCIA (PD, D)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit to the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, famous for its unique Hittite collections; and finally to Anitkabir, the Mausoleum of Atatürk, father of modern Turkey. Departure for Cappadocia by road along the Salt Lake. On the way, visit an underground city, a refuge for citizens in times of invasion. Arrival at hotel and dinner.
DAY 5 | CAPPADOCIA (PD,D)
Breakfast at hotel. Day devoted to visiting the region: the Goreme valley, an open-air museum with its rock churches decorated with superb frescoes and famous for their fairy chimneys, and a walk through the troglodyte village of Uçhisar. The Derbent valley with its curious natural formations. Visit to a carpet and onyx workshop. Dinner and overnight at hotel
DAY 6 | CAPPADOCIA | PAMUKKALE (PD, D)
Early breakfast. Early morning departure. Cross the Central Anatolian plain, stopping en route to visit the 13th-century Seljuk caravanserai at Sultanhan. Continuation to Pamukkale, the "Cotton Castle", a remarkable natural site with its gigantic limestone travertine basins Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 7 | PAMUKKALE | EPHESE | IZMIR (PD,D)
Breakfast in hotel. Departure for Ephesus, the holy city of Artemis, with its temples including Hadrian's, Celsus' library, the Agora, the Odeon, Trajan's Fountain and a vast theater. Visit the House of the Virgin Mary, visited by several thousand pilgrims every year, whose authenticity was confirmed by Paul VI on July 26, 1967. Visit to a leather workshop. Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 8 | IZMIR | BURSA | ISTANBUL (PD)
Breakfast at hotel Departure for Bursa, the first capital of the Ottoman Empire between 1326 and 1364. Visit to the Ottoman Green Mosque 'Yesil Camii', the silk market in the Yesil district and the Green Mausoleum. Continuation to Istanbul. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 9 | ISTANBUL (PD)
Breakfast at hotel (flight schedule permitting). Depending on flight times, transfer to the airport. Assistance with check-in formalities and flight to destination. End of our services.
