Go on an excursion departing from DJERBA or ZARZIS towards the south of Tunisia and discover its Berber villages made up of ksour and troglodyte dwellings: TATAOUINE and CHENINI!
You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning and will depart towards the south of Tunisia. You will take a break at the salt lake of CHAHBANYA, then arrive in the famous Berber village of Tataouine. You will stroll through its city center and discover its market.
Afterwards, you will go to CHENINI, a village perched on top of a hill, the site offers a lovely view of the surrounding area! You will also have the opportunity to visit the three floors of this beautiful village and the mosque of seven sleepers.
You will stop for lunch in a local restaurant around GUERMESSA, another Berber village. Then you will head towards KSAR HADADA, one of the villages in the south of Tunisia where the ksour are best preserved. It is also a former filming location for some scenes from the Star Wars film "The Phantom Menace".
At the end of the excursion, after having discovered the Tunisian Berber villages and their ksour, you will be taken back to your hotel.
