Description

Visit an ethical sanctuary in Phang Nga on a guided trip from Phuket with hotel transfers included. Enjoy a lush jungle with a river and waterfall, get up close with elephants, and savor a Thai meal.
Observe free-roaming elephants in a safe and ethical environment on a tour from Phuket that includes hotel transfers and Thai lunch. Enjoy the rural landscape of the Mueang Phang-nga district, meet your elephant and Kwan-chang (elephant handler), and get a chance to bathe and feed the giants.
Start with a morning pickup from your accommodation in Phuket. Be driven for approximately 45 minutes through scenic agricultural lands, stopping on the way to visit Benyaran Museum to see a collection of local antiques.
Upon arrival at the wildlife sanctuary, meet your guide and learn a little about the elephants as you take a walk through the forest. Get bananas and sugarcane to feed the majestic animals. You can touch, feed, photograph, and interact with them while learning about their lifestyle and behavior.

Then, accompany the elephants to a nearby mud spa. Go knees-deep into the mud to apply a healthy cosmetic mud treatment to their skin. Next, walk with the elephants to a nearby river and join them in the water for a refreshing bath. Take a swim and help brush the elephants as they play in the river.
Once the elephants are bathed, you can take some photos with them. Then, it is time to part ways with your friends. Take a shower, change into dry clothes and savor a freshly-cooked, traditional Thai lunch with some snacks and seasonal fresh fruits.
You can also join a Thai cooking demonstration led by professional guides and see how Pad Thai, a signature stir-fry dish, and Som Tam (papaya salad) are prepared.
End your day with a hotel drop-off in Phuket.
