The Krabi Elephant Shelter was constructed with the intention of being a second home for the elephants from the terrible hardship they were experiencing in forestry operations and riding camps.
Instead of riding or working with them, we employ our elephants in their daily lives and have learned to adapt to them so that we can all enjoy our activities together. The elephants that are currently living with us are the elephants that have previously had to cohabit with humans, so they are accustomed to human behavior. Every day, you’ll discover how warm, hot, and hungry they are.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Please note that you will need your passport number to fill in the accident insurance form at the shelter
• The pick-up time confirmation will be sent by the local partner in a separate email or WhatsApp after the booking
• Please wait at the lobby 10 minutes before the pick-up time
• Please wait in the hotel lobby 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.
• The driver will be holding a sign of Krabi Elephant Shelter
• The driver will pick you up at the hotel you stay in or a specific area you will arrange with us.
• Drivers will wait no longer than 5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
