Learn to cook traditional Thai dishes with a local family in their organic kitchen garden. Visit a local market to pick up fresh ingredients, and then cook and eat a meal in a traditional Thai family style.
Be picked up from your hotel and head to visit a local market. Spend time there to learn and see some of the greens, herbs, and ingredients in the market. Choose the different dishes from one of each categories in the following selection:
1. Hot & Sour prawn or local chicken soup, Chicken in coconut milk or Turmeric chicken soup.
2. Pad Thai, Chicken fried rice, fried chicken with cashew nuts or Pad Kra Pao.
3. Make your own curry paste from scratch using a mortar and pestle. Choose to make Red, Green, Phanaeng, Massaman, or Khao Soi curry paste.
4. Use the curry paste you made to cook with chicken and coconut milk.
5. Learn how to cook sticky rice.
6. Learn how to make sweet sticky rice with mango.
Enjoy cooking and eating in a very traditional Thai family style in the organic kitchen garden with a unique and individually hands-on method taught by a dedicated instructor. Receive a PDF version of the recipe book online. After wrapping up and answering any questions, be taken back to your hotel.

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
