Description
Explore the Pungume Sandbank, a great place for relaxing, swimming, snorkeling on this sailboat tour from Zanzibar. Then, discover why Zanzibar is known as ¨Spice Island¨ and what makes it so popular.
Pungume Sandbank is on the south of the island, near Kizimkazi. Kizimkazi is very popular for fishing and spotting dolphins, which we hope to see on your tour! The captain will take you to some of the hotspots for spotting dolphins, and if you’re lucky enough, you might just get a chance to swim with them! They however don’t stay around much longer so hop back onto the boat and let the captain take you to Pungume Sandbank where you can relax, have lunch, swim and snorkel around the sandbank!
Then, our driver will drive you to your next excursion at the Spice Farm where you will discover why Zanzibar is called the Spice Island. You will learn all about the fruits, plants and spices planted on the island. Discover how the islands produce cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, black pepper, and more.
