Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
- You land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, greeted by warm African air and -- the anticipation of the journey ahead.
- Transfer to your hotel in Moshi, where you meet fellow trekkers and your experienced guide.
- Rest up, knowing that tomorrow begins the ascent.
Day 2: Lemosho Gate to Big Tree Camp
- After breakfast, drive to the Lemosho Gate (2,100 meters).
- Register, meet your porters, and start hiking through lush rainforest.
- Reach Big Tree Camp (2,650 meters) and settle into your tent, surrounded by towering trees and the sounds of nature.
Day 3: Big Tree Camp to Shira 1 Camp
- Continue through the forest, spotting colobus monkeys and exotic birds.
- Emerge into the heather zone, with expansive views of the Shira Plateau.
- Arrive at Shira 1 Camp (3,505 meters), where the landscape opens up, revealing the vastness of Kilimanjaro.
Day 4: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp
- Trek across the Shira Plateau, a high-altitude desert.

- Descend to Millennium Camp (3,950 meters) for a well-deserved rest.
Day 9: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate

- Celebrate your achievement with your team at Mweka Gate.
- Transfer back to Moshi, where hot showers and a comfortable bed await.
Day 10: Departure

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
