Learn from a local artisan how to make pottery the Tanzanian way.
Visit a local artisan's pottery studio and learn about the pottery industry in the area. During the pottery lesson, you will be taught how to make pottery in the local way. You will use a large pottery wheel to create your own piece of art. The pottery takes a few days to harden before being added to the kiln. We will bring your art to your hotel or residence when it is ready. If you won't be in Arusha when it is ready, you will have the option to purchase another piece make by a local artisan or have your piece shipped to you.
There can also be a coffee tour added to this activity.
