Arusha: 5-Day Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Kilimanjaro Safari

Embark on a 5-day safari adventure in Tanzania. Explore the Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Maasai village. Hike up Mount Kilimanjaro and enjoy a picnic lunch at the gate of the Serengeti National Park.

Day 1: Serengeti National Park
Begin your adventure with a pickup from Kilimanjaro International Airport. Drive to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Katambuga House.

Day 2: Serengeti – Ngorongoro
Depart from the hotel and head towards Serengeti National Park across the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (Loduare Gate). The stretch of road towards the park's gates offers a fantastic opportunity to see animals in their natural habitats, often during migration including wildebeest, zebras, impala, and lions.

Have a picnic lunch at the gate of Serengeti National Park (Naabi Gate) where you can also follow a trail to the top of the hill which boasts stunning views over the stunning Serengeti. With the game drive end-route, head to dinner and overnight at Thronetree Camps.

Day 3: Ngorongoro to Arusha
Enjoy an early morning breakfast and descend to the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest inactive, unbroken, and unfilled volcanic caldera. At this point, get a chance to see a large number of mammals such as the endangered rhinos, mountain reedbuck, jackals, and numerous bird species. After lunch, have a short game drive before heading to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Katambuga House.

Day 4: Kilimanjaro full-day trip hiking
After breakfast, drive from Arusha to the Marangu Park gate. All hikers are required to sign in at the park entrance while the guide makes the final preparations. Once complete, the hike will commence through the park gate into a beautifully green rainforest. The rainforest is full of wildlife and if you’re lucky enough, you might be able to spot a few animals especially the monkeys and birds with a lot of flower species along the way to the first camp, Mandara Hut 2700m. Rest and have your lunch, take some pictures in beautiful view, then get back to the gate and drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Katambuga Hostel.

Day 5: Departure day
Be transferred to the airport depending on your flight departure time.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
