Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from the lodge to begin a beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park for a wildlife game drive, with lunch boxes provided. After the game drives, drive back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
Be picked up from your hotel in Arusha by your tour guide driver, with lunch boxes in hand, and depart for the Serengeti Ndutu or Mara for a wildlife game drive. Pay special attention to the great migration and experience the calving season. Enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. Afternoon, continue with a game drive before reaching the camp.
The Serengeti National Park is famous for its Great Migration the largest herd movement of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals gathering together for calving season when wildebeests give birth.
The best time to visit is from early June to late October for the northern Serengeti Great migration (Mara area). Once you finish the game drives, transfer to the lodge/campsite for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stays.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Wake up early, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and then witness the great migration in Serengeti (Mara) with special emphasis on migration. In the afternoon, depart to central Serengeti for an overnight stay at the accommodation located on the central Serengeti.
Serengeti National Park is well known for its great migration of wild herbivores, which is highly dependent on the rainfall season. The great migration is the largest herd movement of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals gathering together for the calving season. Wildebeests give birth during this time. The best time to visit is from mid-June to late October every year.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up from the tented camp and drive you to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival at Ngorongoro gate, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for game drives with your lunch boxes. When you are in Ngorongoro crater, have a chance to visit Maasai Community living in the crater.
Ngorongoro Crater is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites and a conservation project. It is the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the natural wonders of Africa. The crater is home to about 30,000 large mammals year-round, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as various bird species such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Get ready to see many animals in a short amount of time. After the game drives, transfer back to Arusha town or the airport, where the safari ends.
