Discover the stunning white sand bank of Nakupenda Island on a full-day tour from Stone Town. Swim, snorkel, sunbathe, or bird watch on the island, and enjoy a seafood lunch. Then, explore the Aldabra giant tortoises on Prison Island. 8 am - 5pm, full day.
Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Stone Town and head to the boat to Nakupenda Island. Board the boat and take a 30-minute ride to the island. Admire the crystal-clear waters and the unique white sand bank.
Once on the island, enjoy some free time to relax on the beach, swim, snorkel, or bird watch. If you want to snorkel, rent equipment for an additional fee. Then, savor a delicious seafood lunch on the island.
after another 30 minutes boatride we reach Prison Island, also known as Changuu Island. Learn about the island's history and see the collection of endangered Aldabra giant tortoises, which were originally a gift from the British governor of the Seychelles. Watch and feed these special tortoises.
Afterward, take the boat back to Stone Town and get dropped off at your hotel.
