A lovely day trip to Materuni Village located at the foot hills of Mountain Kilimanjaro for a short hike to the mystical Materuni water falls and learn to grow, roast and grind your own coffee.
(09:00h) Pick up from the Hotel in Arusha after breakfast/ Pick up at give public location, followed by 3hrs drive to the Materuni village located in the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro and start your tour at a local coffee plantation farm where, you will learn to grow, roast and grind your own coffee, you will also take a nature walk to Materuni Waterfall. On the way to Materuni Waterfall you will get the opportunity to see local fruit like avocados, mangos, lemons, and bananas from their trees as well as learn some of the local history, traditions, village economy, agricultural and cultural life along the way. Then, the day trip will end with a refreshing dip in the natural pool and a delicious local lunch before heading to Arusha/ Moshi for dinner and overnight stay. Marking the end of our day trip.
