Embark on an 8-day trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route. Admire the beautiful landscapes and gradual ascent profile of the route, which aids in acclimatization.
Day 1: Lemosho Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
After arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. In the evening, meet your mountain guide for a briefing about your upcoming trip and a gear check.
Day 2: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp
After breakfast, start your hike to Shira One Camp. Enjoy the landscapes with the beautiful view. In the beginning, it will be steep at some points, and later after halfway, you will be going down to the camp. When you reach the camp, lunch will be ready prepared, so you will have your lunch and rest around the camp while enjoying the beautiful view of the Shira Plateau and the Kibo Peak.
Day 3: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp
Wake up in the morning, get your breakfast, and start hiking to Shira Cathedral (3,872M) and then continue to Shira Two Camp for lunch and rest in the last part of your day. In the evening, you will have an acclimatizing walk and come back for dinner and overnight rest, waiting for the next day’s schedule.
Day 4: Shira 2 Camp to Lava Tower and Descent to Barranco Camp
Wake up early in the morning, have your breakfast, and start your hike as early as You will go slowly to Lava Tower (4,600M) and have your lunch at the Lava Tower. After having your lunch, you will slowly descend to Barranco Camp overnight.
Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Today you will have only a six-kilometer walk, which will start with the giant climb on the Barranco Wall to its top, which is 4,200M, and then ups and downs to Karanga Camp, which is 3,995M.
Day 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Wake up early in the morning and get breakfast. After finishing your breakfast, it will be a good time to start your journey to Barafu Camp. As you arrive at the Barafu Camp, you will have your lunch and rest. Remember that tonight you will have a summiting walk, so you need to use this time to rest and save your energy for the summit. you will wake up in the middle of the night to go to the summit - Uhuru Peak, which is 5 km from the camp.
Day 7: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak and Descent to Mweka Camp
Wake up in the middle of the night, have light tea, and start your journey to the summit, Uhuru Peak. You will reach Stella Point (5,756M), and when you reach there, it is only 45 minutes from Uhuru Peak, so this will be the right time for you to enjoy the sunrise as you approach the peak. When you reach the peak, you will take pictures and descend to the camp to rest and have lunch before going down to Mweka Camp.
Day 8: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate
After your breakfast, you will start hiking down to the gate, which is a 10 km distance again in the rainforest. This hike is expected to take 2-3 hours. After reaching the gate, you will celebrate with your team and then transfer to Moshi.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
