Commence on a thrilling 6-day adventure up Mount Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route, known for its panoramic views and rich biodiversity. This route is often regarded as the most scenic on Kilimanjaro, starting from the lush rainforest of the western slopes. As you ascend, experience a variety of landscapes, from dense forests to moorlands and alpine deserts, culminating in a breathtaking summit at Uhuru Peak.

Day 1: Lemosho Glades (2385m) to Big Tree Camp (2780m)

Begin your journey from the Lemosho Glades, trekking through the lush rainforest where you’ll encounter the rich flora and fauna unique to this region. The trail leads you to Big Tree Camp, a serene campsite nestled under a canopy of towering trees.

Day 2: Big Tree Camp (2780m) to Shira 2 Camp (3900m)

Today’s hike takes you out of the rainforest and into the moorlands. As you ascend, you'll enjoy expansive views of the Shira Plateau and Mount Meru in the distance. The trek is long but rewarding, culminating at Shira 2 Camp, where you'll camp for the night.

Day 3: Shira 2 Camp (3900m) to Barranco Camp (3960m)

The day begins with a climb towards Lava Tower at 4600m, an important point for acclimatization. After reaching Lava Tower, you'll descend to Barranco Camp. This descent is essential for adapting to the altitude, and the trek through the Barranco Valley offers stunning views of the Western Breach and the towering Barranco Wall.

Day 4: Barranco Camp (3960m) to Barafu Camp (4640m)

Start the day with an exhilarating climb up the Barranco Wall, followed by a series of ascents and descents as you traverse the Karanga Valley. The trail eventually leads to Barafu Camp, your base for the summit attempt. Spend the afternoon resting and preparing for the final ascent.

Day 5: Barafu Camp (4640m) to Uhuru Peak (5895m) & down to Millennium Camp (3790m)

Begin your summit attempt just after midnight, climbing the steep slopes towards Stella Point and then on to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. The climb is challenging, but the reward of watching the sunrise from the roof of Africa is unforgettable. After taking in the views and capturing photos, you'll descend to Millennium Camp for a well-deserved rest.

Day 6: Trek Millennium Camp (3790m) to Mweka Gate (1630m)

The final leg of your journey takes you through the lush rainforest as you descend to Mweka Gate. Here, you’ll receive your summit certificate, marking the successful completion of your Kilimanjaro adventure, before being transferred back to Moshi.
