Day 1 - Arrival in Tanzania

Day 2 - Machame Gate to Machame Camp (3,010 m)
– Breakfast at the eco-lodge
– Drive to Kilimanjaro National Park
– Registration formalities at Machame Gate
– Start hiking through the tropical rainforest
– Picnic lunch on the trail
– Reach Machame Camp for dinner and overnight
Day 3 - Machame Camp to Shira Camp (3,840 m)
– Breakfast at Machame Camp
– Hike through the heath and moorland zone
– Enjoy stunning views of Mount Meru and Shira Plateau

– Overnight at Shira Camp
Day 4 - Shira Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp (3,976 m)

Day 5 - Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp (3,995 m)

Day 6 - Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp (4,673 m)

Day 7 - Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) to Mweka Camp (3,100 m)

– Summit push starts around midnight
– Reach the summit of Uhuru Peak just before dawn
– Witness the stunning sunrise and take photos
– Descend to Mweka Camp for dinner and overnight
Day 8 - Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate to Moshi
– Breakfast at Mweka Camp
– Descend to Mweka Gate and collect summit certificates
– Transfer back to the eco-lodge in Moshi
– Celebratory dinner and overnight at the eco-lodge
Day 9 - Departure from Tanzania

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
