7-Day Machame Route Kilimanjaro Climbing Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Start your climb from Machame Gate, trekking through lush rainforest. Reach Machame Camp in the afternoon and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. Overnight at camp.

Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Ascend through the moorland, reaching Shira Camp. Enjoy panoramic views of the mountain and the Shira Plateau. Acclimatize with a short acclimation hike in the afternoon before dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Shira Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
Climb to Lava Tower for high-altitude acclimatization, then descend to Barranco Camp. This allows your body to adjust to the altitude while still gaining elevation. Overnight at Barranco Camp.

Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
