On your visit, have an opportunity to learn about the Maasai culture. See how they live in small huts made of a mixture of cow dung and soil. The huts are built in a circle and the animals sleep in the center to be safe from wild animals.

Learn to make fire in a traditional way and ignite dry elephant dung. Every morning and evening, a group of men will make a fire and then distribute it to the entire village.

See how they get medicine from trees and shrubs by boiling the leaves, stems, and roots of some trees. The Maasai are known for their high jumping, which is also a way of attracting a bride. The higher the jumps, the more of an eligible bachelor a man is.

Sing and dance with the Maasai. Learn about their weapons such as spears and shields and their fighting skills. They do not hunt, but Maasai men are known to kill lions to protect their village and their cattle.
