5 Days Tanzania camping safari will introduce you to Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Manyara National Park, & the famous Ngorongoro Crater both parks with unique features and amazing wildlife.
Day 1 Tarangire National Park
You will get picked from your hotel/accommodation at 7:30 am and get introduced to your guide afterwards you will begin your journey heading to Tarangire National Park(1hr 45 min drive). The park is popular for its assorted scenery. The park is well known for the overflow of ancient baobab trees and having the biggest herds of elephant in the entire nation. You will do a game drive through the park area in search of cheetahs, lions, giraffes, zebra.
Later on we will go to Tarangire picnic site for lunch and enjoy the wonderful view overlooking the Tarangire River and animals around it. While having your lunch you will have close encounter from small monkeys and birds.
After lunch you will continue with the game drive and later on exit the park and drive to Fig tree Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Serengeti National park
We’ll head out for the Serengeti after breakfast. You will travel a lengthy, bumpy road for roughly 4-5 hours while enjoying an amazing wildlife on the way up the crater highlands into the enormous Serengeti plains. We’ll make a stop for a picnic lunch before entering the park for an afternoon drive. We’ll head to Seronera campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Serengeti National Park
You start your day early by getting up before day break to set out on a sunrise game drive. Witness the morning sun, light up the savannah while hunters like leopards and lions take on their morning hunt.
In the afternoon you will have your lunch before exiting the park and proceed to Ngorongoro Crater where you will have dinner and spend the night at Simba Camp site.
Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you will descend to the Ngorongoro crater, considered to be one of the eight wonders of the world.
Home to over 120 animal species including the legendary Big five, Ngorongoro crater is one the best safari destination in the world. It is one the parks you can see the endangered black Rhino, as well as a spot to witness enormous quantities of hippopotamus.
From the solace of your open-top vehicle you will have an opportunity to spot countless other animals like lions, leopards, jackals, hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, Elephants and cape buffalos.
After exploring the crater you will head to the hippo pool and have your lunch, then afterwards continue with the game drive and later ascend the crater to begin your drive to Fig Tree Lodge where you will have your dinner and overnight
Day 5 Lake Manyara National Park
The park is just close to Mto wa mbu town, so after breakfast you will have a short drive to the parks gate. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, besides being relatively small the park has diverse animals. It is also a birdwatchers paradise, with a huge variety of bird species from flamingos, several birds of prey to the colourful-breasted roller. You’ll then begin your journey back to your accommodation in Arusha or head to the Airport if you have a flight to catch.
