2 DAYS LAKE NATRON SAFARI AND WATERFALL HIKE

During the drive, we will pass through remote Maasai areas with stunning views of the 'mountain of God' Ol Doinyo Lengai.
Day 1; Arusha to Lake natron

In the morning, our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive you for approximately 4 hours to Lake Natron. During the drive, we will pass through remote Maasai areas with stunning views of the 'mountain of God' Ol Doinyo Lengai. If we're lucky, we might even see some zebras, giraffes, and other animals along the way. We will stop for lunch on the journey. Once we arrive at the entrance gate of Lake Natron Area, a local Maasai guide will escort us. It is not allowed to visit this area without a local Maasai guide. In the afternoon, we will head to Lake Natron accompanied by our local Maasai guide, we will explore the lake on foot, and have the chance to see flamingos and other water birds up close. We will stay until sunset, as this is the time when the flamingos are most active, looking for food. After the visit, we will return to our accommodation, where dinner will be served



Day 2; Ngaresero waterfall hike to Arusha

Today, we're embarking on a hike to Ngaresero waterfall, departing early after breakfast to avoid the heat of the day. The hike lasts 1-2 hours and showcases the stunning landscapes surrounding Lake Natron. Be prepared to get wet as you'll need to cross the river multiple times before arriving at the waterfall. Once you reach the waterfall, take a dip in the small canyons for a refreshing swim. After finishing the hike, we will head back to your lodge before starting the 4-hour drive back to Arusha. For lunch, we'll stop at a picnic site along the way, then we will proceed to Arusha town making the end of your tour.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
