Get ready for an unforgettable journey through Tanzania’s diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife! This two-day lodge safari takes you to the heart of two iconic destinations: the vibrant Lake Manyara National Park and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Your African adventure begins in Arusha with a morning briefing, where you’ll meet your expert guide. Shortly after that, you’ll set off on a scenic drive westwards to Lake Manyara National Park. This compact yet captivating park is renowned for its incredible biodiversity. Prepare to be mesmerized by the sight of over 400 bird species, including vast flocks of flamingos that turn the alkaline lake into a sea of pink.
Explore the park’s primate-filled forests, where you might spot the lively long-tailed Guenon monkeys swinging through the trees, and traverse its grassy plains, home to elephants, giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, and impalas. With the pop-up roof of your safari vehicle, you’ll have unparalleled views of this incredible natural theater.
As the sun begins to set, you’ll depart from Lake Manyara and head to the comfortable Eileen’s Trees Inn for a relaxing overnight stay, complete with delicious meals.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Return to Arusha
After a hearty breakfast, your adventure continues with a journey to the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This geological marvel, at approximately 18 km (11.25 mi) in diameter the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, is a thriving ecosystem supporting some 25,000 mammals.
Descend into this natural amphitheater and be prepared for an extraordinary wildlife spectacle. Keep your eyes peeled for a wide array of animals, from graceful Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles and mountain reedbucks to elusive predators like spotted hyenas and the endangered African wild dog. Bird enthusiasts will be thrilled by the opportunity to spot some of the region’s 500+ bird species.
And of course, no safari is complete without the chance to encounter the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinoceroses, and leopards. After a delightful picnic lunch within the crater, you’ll set out for yet another memorable game drive as you ascend back to the rim of the crater and return to Arusha in the early evening, your heart full of incredible memories of Tanzania’s untamed beauty.
