Description

This 2-day cultural tour provides a rare and authentic cultural experience, allowing you to engage with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes and witness how these communities live off the land.
- **Day 1:** The tour begins in Arusha, where you will set off in a 4x4 vehicle towards Lake Eyasi, located in the southwest of the Ngorongoro Crater. Lake Eyasi is the native homeland of the Hadzabe, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. You will have the opportunity to learn about the Hadzabe people, their traditions, and bush skills. The Hadza speak a unique click language, and you can explore the area, including the lake, with the help of the locals. You will spend the night at a camp near Lake Eyasi.

- **Day 2:** In the morning, you will have the chance to continue your exploration and cultural immersion with the Hadzabe tribe. The tour also includes a visit to the Datoga tribe, pastoralists who are skilled blacksmiths. You will learn about their way of life, traditions, and skills, offering you a firsthand experience of these unique cultures.
After the visit to the Datoga, your driver/guide will depart for Arusha around 4pm for drop-off.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
